For the first time, this catalog focuses on the objects that form the basis of Klapheck’s visual world: starting with his first typewriter from 1955, through sewing machines and calculators, shoe trees, right up to bicycle bells. These are contrasted with Klapheck’s works, in which he depicts these mostly everyday objects with precision whilst simultaneously elevating them metaphorically.
